School Fees For Meritorious Students From Disadvantaged Families( Std Viii –xii)
In order to negate discrimination against the girl child, stop 'Female Feticide' and support poor deserving girls in Education and Vocational Training, the ‘Beti’ project came into existence in 2011. Along with supporting the girl child, since 2016 NDF is also supporting meritorious young boys from poor families with their school fees. The project started with 35 students in 2011 and is now supporting the education of 250 girls and boys annually. Complete due diligence is done w.r.t. meeting the child and parent along with collecting necessary documents like income proof, past 2 years report card, ration card, address proof, fee structure and related. Our cut off is minimum 80% in academics. We inform each student that their results help them earn a scholarship each year. Sometimes students are taken based on their circumstances like cancer in the family, orphans or if a student is suffering from a handicap, a heart ailment or is specially challenged.
